Lessons learnt & the philosophy behind financial planningPodcasts
Anyone born this Millennium has a better than even chance of living to age 100. Even if you’re 60, there’s a good chance you’ll live past 90.
Yet most of the financial advice we see is based around a time when people lived shorter lives. It hasn’t aged well, and it’s probably wrong.
The Century Plan looks at the financial decisions needed to maintain a comfortable lifestyle, where your money outlives you, and not the other way around.
Chartered Financial Planner, Dennis Hall, has been giving people financial advice for almost 40 years. On The Century Plan podcast he talks to Sarah Steele about the lessons he has learnt, the philosophy behind financial planning, and why we need to be looking over the much longer term when it comes to our financial future.

In 2022 Sarah became Yellowtail’s second Director and now looks after all non-regulated aspects of the business. Sarah is particularly interested in the psychology of money and the interactions clients have with their financial planner. These interactions form the basis of many of the questions Sarah puts to Dennis on The Century Plan. All podcasts
